1. Acceptance and consent
These Terms form an agreement between you and Breaking Loops, S.L.U., the provider of Lovv (“Lovv”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Lovv website or mobile application (the “Platform”), you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Legal Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility and registration
You must be at least 18 years old, legally able to enter this agreement, and permitted to use the service where you live. You may maintain only one personal account. You must provide truthful, current information and complete any phone or identity checks required by the Platform. Bots, shared accounts and impersonation are prohibited.
4. What Lovv provides
Lovv is an independent nonprofit dating platform. It uses the information and preferences users provide to suggest introductions and may offer discovery, messaging, feedback, blocking, reporting and safety tools. Features may vary by location or change as the service develops.
Lovv facilitates introductions but does not promise that any person is compatible, available, safe or interested, or that use of the Platform will lead to a match, relationship, partnership, marriage or family.
5. Free service and nonprofit model
Access to and use of Lovv is free. Lovv does not sell paid visibility, boosts, premium tiers or better odds at love. If optional services are introduced in the future, their conditions will be explained clearly in advance and will not undermine equal access to introductions.
6. Your account
You are responsible for your credentials and activity on your account. Keep access secure and tell us promptly about suspected misuse. You may close your account through the account settings. We may require reverification or restrict access when reasonably necessary for authenticity, security or legal compliance.
7. Your profile, messages and content
You retain ownership of photos, text, messages and other content you provide. You confirm that you have the rights needed to share it and that it is accurate and lawful. You grant Lovv a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, format, display and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure and improve the Platform. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except for limited backups, legal retention and information necessary to investigate safety reports.
8. Community rules
You must treat others honestly and respectfully. You may not use Lovv to:
- harass, threaten, stalk, exploit, discriminate against or harm anyone;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, age, intentions or relationship status;
- commit fraud, request money, promote commercial services, recruit, spam or manipulate others;
- publish unlawful, hateful, violent, sexually exploitative or rights-infringing content;
- share another person’s private information without permission;
- scrape data, use bots, reverse engineer the Platform, bypass security or create multiple accounts; or
- use the Platform for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
9. Safety and identity verification
Verification is intended to reduce fake and duplicate accounts; it is not a criminal-background check, endorsement or guarantee of identity, intentions or future conduct. Use judgment, protect personal and financial information, meet in public, tell someone your plans and report concerning behaviour. Contact emergency services when there is an immediate risk.
10. Moderation, reports and appeals
Lovv may review reports and, where proportionate, remove content, limit features, suspend or terminate accounts, or contact authorities when we reasonably believe these Terms, safety, rights or law are at risk. We may use automated tools to flag potential abuse, with human review where appropriate.
Where required, we will provide reasons for content or account restrictions and a way to challenge the decision. Appeals may be submitted through the app or to legal@lovv.app. We may withhold details when disclosure would create a safety or legal risk.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how Lovv processes profile, preference, location, verification, message and usage information, including the rights available in Europe and the United States. It forms part of these Terms.
12. Lovv’s intellectual property
The Platform, software, design, Lovv name, heart mark and Lovv-created content belong to Lovv or its licensors. We give you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended non-commercial purpose while these Terms remain in effect.
13. Third-party services and availability
App stores, identity-verification services, maps and other third-party services have their own terms. Lovv is not responsible for services it does not control. We aim to provide a reliable Platform but may change, interrupt or discontinue features for maintenance, safety, legal or operational reasons.
14. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform is provided “as is” and “as available”. Lovv does not control what users say or do, whether online or offline. You are responsible for your interactions with other users.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded, including mandatory rights available to consumers in Europe. For United States users, any exclusion or limitation applies only to the extent permitted by the law of their state.
15. Suspension, termination and changes
You may stop using Lovv and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for serious or repeated violations, safety or security risks, legal requirements, or discontinuation of the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Lovv or the law. We will publish the new date and give additional notice of material changes where required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance only where applicable law permits.
16. Governing law and regional rights
These Terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country or state. Users in the EU or EEA may bring claims before the courts available under applicable consumer law. Users in the United States retain all non-waivable federal and state rights and may bring claims in any forum required by applicable law.
17. General provisions and contact
If part of these Terms is unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not transfer your account or this agreement. Lovv may transfer the agreement only as permitted by law and consistently with its nonprofit mission.
